Straus Family Creamery was the first certified organic dairy west of the Mississippi when Albert Straus made the switch in 1994. The creamery is at 5600 Marshall-Petaluma Road in Marshall. They are known for the reusable glass bottles and that soft serve machine that shows up at events. Their organic milk, cream, butter, and ice cream are at grocery stores across the Bay Area.
