When you need a pediatrician at 9 p.m. or a plumber who will actually call back, when you're comparing preschools or finding a groomer your dog won't hate, this is what we built. Schools covers every public and private K–12 in the county. Child care has licensed preschools, daycares, and family homes — San Rafael, Novato, Mill Valley, and the rest. Senior care lists residential and home care facilities for when you need them.

For the rest of it — vets, groomers, hair, nails, wellness, plumbers — we keep curated lists of the places we'd actually recommend. Not comprehensive, just good.
