Toluma Farms
Tomales
dairy
Toluma is a 160-acre goat and sheep dairy at 5488 Middle Road, a few miles from the Pacific Coast, home to 200 goats and 80 sheep that rotate through organic pastures. They started making farmstead cheese in 2013 and now produce eight seasonal varieties—they are one of the few dairies anywhere milking both goats and sheep. Several cheeses carry names from the Coast Miwok language, and they have won multiple Good Food Awards and American Cheese Society awards. Find their cheese at Ferry Plaza on Saturdays, SF Clement on Sundays, or grab some 24/7 from the honor-system Airstream shop at the farm.
