Vanessa Chavez and Murat Sozeri started Cholita Linda at the Jack London Square farmers market in 2008. Mill Valley is their first Marin kitchen, tiled and bright and hung with papel picado, directly across the roadway from Tartine. Fish tacos, Cubanos, aguas frescas. They say everything is made from scratch — fish tacos to aguas frescas. Open 11 to 9 every day. Order at the counter, sit under the string lights, and linger.
