Public volleyball in Marin

Mill Valley has Bayfront Park, Corte Madera has The Cove, Sausalito has Dunphy Park, and Larkspur has Piper Park. McNears Beach in San Rafael has courts too.

Mill Valley has Bayfront Park, Corte Madera has The Cove Park, Sausalito has Dunphy Park, and Larkspur has Piper Park. All four are sand courts. McNears Beach in San Rafael has volleyball courts too.

  1. Mill Valley

    Bayfront Park

    Sand. East end of Sycamore Avenue. First come unless reserved. Groups of 15+ need a reservation. City nets. Courts from half an hour before sunrise to half an hour after sunset. No pets on the courts.

  2. Corte Madera

    The Cove Park

    Sand. 330 Golden Hind Passage, next to The Cove School.

  3. Sausalito

    Dunphy Park

    Sand. Bridgeway at Napa.

  4. Larkspur

    Piper Park

    Two sand courts. First come unless you reserve. Online reservations 48 hours ahead, year-round. Next to Hall Middle School.

  5. San Rafael

    McNears Beach Park

    Volleyball courts. 201 Cantera Way. No dogs except service animals. Fall hours are 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. (summer ran 7 a.m. to 8 p.m. through September 7).
