Soft serve in Marin runs on Straus organic, mostly, with a few places doing their own thing. Picco in Larkspur does an olive oil cone with Double 8 Dairy that tastes like nothing else in the county. For Straus, you have options: Super Duper on Miller Avenue in Mill Valley, Violet's at Belly Deli on Second Street in San Rafael (they opened a candy shop next door), Baan Thai on San Anselmo Avenue, and Woodlands Market in Kentfield with a toppings bar. Driver's in Sausalito has Valley Ford this summer if you want something different.
