Halloween 2026 events have wrapped up. Pumpkins were available all month at Nicasio Valley and Grossi in Novato.

San Rafael Halloween Costume Swap
This event happened on October 9.
Pickleweed Park, 50 Canal Street. Costumes are free. During the last Movies in the Park (Toy Story 5).

Novato Repair Fair and Halloween Costume Swap
This event happened on October 10.
Novato City Hall, 901 Sherman Avenue, Novato. The Reuse Alliance brings volunteer repair coaches to fix your broken stuff — lamps, small appliances, textiles, bikes, and more. You stay with your item while they work on it. Pre-register items on the Reuse Alliance site if they ask.
There is also a Halloween Costume and Decor Swap at the same event. Bring clean, good-condition costumes, props, and decorations, and take home new-to-you items. Organized with Zero Waste Marin.

San Rafael Treat Walk
This event happened on October 29.
San Rafael Community Center, 618 B Street. Free. San Rafael Library and Recreation. Treats, pumpkin decorating, face painting, and games in the Lonatese Garden. Costumes welcome.
Mill Valley Halloween at the Center
This event happened on October 30.
Community Center parking lot, 180 Camino Alto. Magic show, 6:15–7pm, Cascade Room. Tickets required for the show. No price posted yet. The city says parking at the Center will be limited that day.

Scary at the Berry
This event happened on October 30.
Strawberry Recreation, 118 E Strawberry Drive, Mill Valley. $5 per child 2 and up if you pre-register. $10 at the door. Under 2 and parents or guardians free. Trick-or-treat around the rec center. Food trucks in the lot if the weather holds.

Downtown Novato Safe Trick or Treat

Downtown businesses. Downtown Novato Business Association. Candy at participating shops. This year the Saturday closest to Halloween is Halloween itself.
Marin Country Mart Halloween Spectacular
This event happened on October 31.
Marin Country Mart, 2257 Larkspur Landing Circle, Larkspur. Costume contest starts at 11 in the courtyard, then trick-or-treat around the Mart until 2.
From October 3 you can stop by the Trading Post and guess the weight of the giant pumpkin — they announce the winner during the Halloween festivities.

Fairfax Halloween Parade and Haunted Grove

City of Sausalito Parks & Recreation. No admission price.
Carved pumpkin contest at Robin Sweeny Park. Drop-off 5–5:30pm. Max 26 pumpkins. LED tea lights okay. Vote until 7:30pm. Pick up 7:30–8pm.
Parade lines up 5:45pm at Station 1 Firehouse (Johnson and Caledonia). Starts 6pm sharp. Trick-or-treat at participating businesses and houses down Caledonia.
Trick or Treat Lane at the Robin Sweeny Park basketball courts around 6:15pm.
Howl'O'Ween dog costume contest, 6:30pm, Litho and Caledonia. Free. No registration. Sponsored by Soulmates. Categories: best little dog under 25 lb, medium 25–49 lb, best big dog 50+ lb, best couple (human and dog).
Street closures: Caledonia from Bridgeway near Johnson to Bee Street, 4:30–9pm. Caledonia between Bee and Locust until 9pm.

Pumpkin patches
Nicasio Valley Pumpkin Patch
Nicasio Valley Pumpkin Patch is open daily through October 31 at 5300 Nicasio Valley Road in Nicasio. Weekdays are quieter on the farm; weekends bring the fuller activity list. Admission and parking are free — check nicasiovalleypumpkinpatch.net for hours and what's on which day.
Grossi Family Farm
Grossi Family Farm is open through October 31 at 3666 Novato Boulevard in Novato, across from Stafford Lake Bike Park. Weekends are 10 to 5:30; Wednesday through Friday it's noon to 5:30. They're closed Mondays and Tuesdays. Weekend admission is on the official site — grossifamilyfarm.com.

Marin Country Mart Pumpkin Patch
Marin Country Mart runs an annual honor-system pumpkin patch October 1–31 at 2257 Larkspur Landing Circle in Larkspur. They set out heirloom pumpkins and you choose your favorite and pay on the honor system.
