The 138th Annual Tomales Festival was Sunday, September 6, noon to 4 p.m., at Tomales Community Park in the town of Tomales. The festival is the oldest in Marin County, dating to 1888. It is a one-day community gathering with live music, a barbecue, games, raffles, and a bake sale. The Tomales Town Hall Association organizes it each year.
