Sound Summit wrapped up Saturday, September 12, 2026, on Mount Tamalpais. Doors opened at 10:30 a.m. and music ran 11:30 a.m. to 7 p.m. The festival happens on the Mountain Theater stone seats, the same amphitheater used for the Mountain Play. Sound Summit benefits One Tam, the partnership between state and federal parks, Marin County Parks, and local conservancies that coordinates land stewardship on and around Tamalpais. The lineup changes each year; past headliners have included Phil Lesh, Bob Weir, and Lukas Nelson. Shuttles run from downtown Mill Valley because parking is limited.
